ABOUT ME

I previously graduated in computer science at Université de Sherbrooke but I always felt pigeon-holed into web design due to previous internships. So, I decided to reorient my studies to game design in order to steer myself towards the industry I wanted to join in the first place. And here I am today, freshly graduated from UQAT’s video game design program.

I consider myself a jack of all trades when it comes to game design. However, my main strength lies in being able to take seemingly incompatible ideas, find a way to fit them together into fun gameplay and actually prototype it.

Finally, I care deeply about teamwork to bonify a project. I pride myself as someone that can be counted on and whose work adds concrete value to a game.

My passions

Video games

Video games influenced my career path for as long as I can remember and my interest in them hasn’t waned. I have a particular interest for RPGs and roguelikes, but I always try to broaden my horizons with different genres. The games that have influenced me the most are notably the entirety of the Dark Souls series, Team Fortress 2, Mario Strikers Charged and Persona 5.

Role-playing

I’m a big fan of TTRPGs like Dungeons and Dragons. Me and my friends have several campaigns going, either in pre-written modules or in the original world of our dungeon master. I also recently took a liking to LARPs and tried to create a cosplay of Darkest Dungeon’s plague doctor.

Reading

You will often see me relax with a good science fiction or fantasy book. My favorite authors include Brandon Sanderson, Bernard Werber, Nicholas Eames and Patrick Sénécal. Their writing inspires me to one day create a fictional world or story as rich as theirs.
